Jackson Takes Title
Congratulations to Jackson HS of Mill Creek for taking the 2010 Kent Classic without dropping a set all day. They overwhelmed a very tired Skyview team, 25-18, 25-12 in the final.
Skyview had the longer road to the final. They had to play in the D/E first round game where they topped a very tough Bellarmine Prep squad in three, 17-25, 25-19, 15-10. Their second round also went three against Olympia.
Jackson had the shorter road courtesy of the first round bye. They then beat Issaquah, 25-19, 25-11.
The afternoon featured outstanding volleyball on all the courts. Some of the exciting matches included Seattle Prep over Mount Si in three and Kentwood over Roosevelt and then over Monroe.
