Pool Play
Pool play will be 10 sets of three team pools. After the first round the winners of round 1 plus the best five, based on record and point differential, 2nd place teams will go to Kentwood, the others to Kentlake. You will stay at that school for the rest of the day. The second round pools will decide brackets for the afternoon.
8:00-11:00 Round One of Pool Play
11:00-12:00 Switch sites if needed
12:00-3:00 Round Two of Pool Play
When you are not playing, your team will need to provide a scorekeeper, libero tracker and lines people for the court you are on. Please be prepared to do this. First round/Second Round: Team A plays Team B, Team C will need to officiate the first match of each round.
Bracket Play
Bracket play will consist of three five team brackets at each school. The winners of the five upper division round two pools will play for the championship. The 2nd place teams in round two will play for 6th to 10th, etc. The teams will be seeded by record and point differential in the second round.
3:30-4:30 First Round (five matches at each school)
4:30-5:30 Second Round (four matches at each school)
6:00-7:00 Final (or as soon as both teams are ready)
Note: We will use courts as they come available for bracket play, so you may be switching courts.
Obviously it is very important to keep the schedule moving as we are trying to ensure lots of volleyball in a small space. The two schools are only 15 minutes apart, but we realize that it will take more than that for some teams to find their way. However, it is very important that teams do it as quickly as possible.
